Favorite Kid-Friendly Fonts!

Decisions, decisions! Choosing the perfect font can make your item and cover page really stand out from the rest! Nothing ruins a perfectly good printable or activity like an ugly (sorry so snobbish) font or one that kids just learning to read have a hard time deciphering!  I'm sure you agree there is something to be said for keeping it simple.

Because of my personal font addiction :) , I have been scrolling through endlessly it seems, previewing the fonts that will be just perfect for whatever I am creating. When making an item for little ones, I always try to select a fun, easy-to-read and kid-friendly font.

I created this visual for myself so that I have a handy reference of my favorites right on my desktop! I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner! What a time-saver!
Feel free to save it for yourself, Pin it or search for some of these beauties to download for your collection!

Below are a few of my favorite font sites and a link to my TPT store where you can find some freebie fonts too!
If you see one you like from the image and just have to have it, search by title!

If you plan to download these fonts for commercial use, you will want to be sure to see the terms of use to give proper credit! Some require a license to be purchased as well. Most fonts above have no strings attached for personal use in the classroom.

Kevin and Amanda, another fantastic font site, have a great tutorial if you need help with installing your new favorites!
