I just finished this craftivity to celebrate Johnny Appleseed Day on September 26th! Click on the picture to see it at my TPT shop!
I'm going to have my kiddies write their names in the tin pot cap and let them choose a hair color to look like themselves! There's a little poem I wrote for the sign for Kinders and several different lines to add some writing about the legend of Johnny Appleseed or facts about John Chapman for first and second graders. This will be our fall bulletin board.
Hope you like Johnny and Jenny or Johnny and Bonnie! :)
If you can be first to guess what my favorite apple-themed classroom activity is, I'll email you the file!
A package arrived at work the other day! I'm so excited to tell you all about it! I've got an awesome giveaway in the works for next week!
I'm going to guess making applesauce!

You're right Lisa! My favorite part is smelling it throughout the school and of course eating our homemade applesauce!I use my mom's recipe and add a little vanilla and brown sugar. The kids really love that activity and I know that is is time well spent to make a happy memory!
DeleteI'll send the Johnny Appleseed file! Congrats!
What a precious little unit! LOVE craftivities :)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to go check it out! Thanks for sharing!

Lori,
ReplyDeleteThat would be a really neat project! Do you have a recipe? Good guess but Lisa won with the applesauce!:)
