Binder Covers and Classroom Organization by Monthly Themes

Yay for May! As I was organizing my classroom, putting away April resources and digging out things for the new month, I decided to update my binder covers! I am in love with these because they are so bright and colorful. But best of all, they have Melonheadz Kidlettes! :)

If you have been thinking about a little reorganizing, you can find these binder covers at my Kidsrcute TPT store.
They are 50% off for the next 24 hours!

 Organize and Simplify!

Lately, I've been trying to cut down on the number of printable pages I store inside my binders. They can get pretty full quickly, so I only save the cover page of any item I have purchased on TPT or Teachers Notebook. It's really nice that all purchases are saved on the sites. I will just download and print what I need when I need it. Saving the cover page helps me remember what I own! Of course, I have treasures from other sources like Mailbox magazines and freebies. Those I do keep hard copies of!

Storing Projects

Some things, like project samples, do not fit nicely in a binder. For oversized items, I keep a large Sterilite box (labeled by month) in my cabinets. I have had these forever and see now that I need change the labels soon to match my classroom decor! I used a laminated deskplate for the label and it fits perfectly along the front.

Year at a Glance by Theme!
Having a chart like this inside my plan book comes in handy!

You can download this freebie here.
It is an editable PowerPoint so you can change whatever you like for your long-range planning!

What units are you looking forward to in May?
