Weekend Warriors- Back to School Bash Giveaway!

My friends and I are here to celebrate the start of a super new school year full of fresh ideas with a Back to School Bash edition of the Weekend Warriors! This time, we are all getting together for a fantastic giveaway just in time for the back to school rush! We've got some awesome prizes and products to give away from each of our Teachers Pay Teachers stores and a GRAND PRIZE you will LOVE!

Back to school means back to busy. When I feel overwhelmed with all of the prep work and planning for the first weeks, I am so thankful for a resource I can easily use with basically NO PREP other than making copies. Maybe you're with me on that one!

That's where this reading packet can help make your back to school planning a breeze!

Here's how it works:
1. Choose a reading skill from the packet.
2. Give a mini-lesson.
3. Read a book to the class during story time or assign an independent read.
4. Use one of the skill pages from this packet as a follow-up.

Choose one skill for each day of the week and your work for planning is DONE for at least one subject!
This is great especially if you are not ready to jump into your reading series, Daily 5 rotations or literacy stations right away. It's not just a back to school resource, because you can use the pages again and again with almost any book!

I'm giving away my Comprehension Companion to one lucky winner.

Enter below to win a copy for your own classroom!

Wait! There's more!
You can also enter to win a $50 Amazon gift card to use to purchase new books, classroom supplies or stuff just for yourself...because you deserve it!

Take it from the counselor in me...retail therapy helps the transition too, so here's more!

Use the Rafflecopter for your chance to win the gift card AND a 5 dollar winner's choice item from all of the bloggers participating!

Be sure to hop over to each of their blogs afterward and see what my creative friends are giving away!

  10. I will be casual since the first 2 days are teacher institute days. We have time to work on our classrooms after our meetings, so I don't want to get any of my good clothes dirty :)
