  2. We sometimes have lunches where everyone contributes, but that's about it. Maybe we need to take your lead and add some more fun. Maria

    1. Each teacher was given a number. We had to race through our building, upstairs downstairs, inside and outside, hunting for our numbered egg and leaving the rest we found alone. Once the grade level team each found their eggs, the team met in the media center and had to unscramble a mystery phrase. The first group to finish won the big prizes. The basket of goodies in the picture was our gift for participating and being good sports! I hope we do it again next year!

    1. Going out is fun! Some of the best times with coworkers were our after-hours celebrations!

  8. I wish my staff did fun things like this! We have a committee that is supposed to plan events for the staff but other than the Christmas party they don't do much.

    1. Oh that's too bad. Maybe you could start out with something simple. I like the idea Jennifer shared about Secret Buddies. You could really change things at your building with one activity! Hope they step it up! :)

  9. WOW!! I wish I was on your staff!! I would love to find a wine bottle (or a different kind of bottle) on my egg hunt!! :) We like to hang out, eat a lot, and grab Starbucks after school!

  10. Our staff takes turns (by grade level) hosting a PayDay Donuts & Bagels treat every other Friday morning. We also do seasonal "Secret Buddy" name exchanges where those who want to pick a staff member to leave small, bi-weekly surprises or gifts for either in their mailbox or outside their classroom door! I love your Egg Hunt idea, and Moscato is my favorite!

  11. We don't do anything fun as a staff. Sadly. Admin. had a St. Pat's breakfast which was a bit of a surprise, but that's about it! Good thing you found the wine before the kids got there!

  12. Thanks for sharing ladies! Our lounge always has treats and some staff get together after hours too. We had a blast yesterday running around like a bunch of kiddies searching for our eggs. The baskets were the consolation prize! My fun administrators plan something like this every now and then! :) I am lucky to work with such great people!

  13. I know I missed the draw but I thought I'd share that our "men" cook the ladies breakfast on Valentine's Day at our school and give each of us a rose :)
