I've Got My Eye on You and an Elf Note Freebie

He's here! Our very own classroom elf from the North Pole arrived today!

Oh yes, he's watching with those big blue eyes!

The fun begins tomorrow when our classroom elf gets his magic! Tomorrow this little guy will have his first hiding spot inside a student desk!

He will leave one of these notes each day!

I'm really hoping this will motivate my class to keep their desks extra tidy!
 Paper stuffers~ look out!

Tomorrow we name him and all that other fun stuff! Tonight's homework is for the kiddos to brainstorm some names for him with their family. I can't wait to hear what they come up with.

My son suggested Gerald! It's growing on me.

What is your elf's name?

  1. My first graders voted on the name, Jack. No real creative, but it seems to suit him! :) The kids are having a ball each morning coming into the classroom and spotting what Jack is up to that particular day.

  2. Our class elf, Snowflake, has been up to some fun and crazy antics! The kids race into the class every morning to see where he is and what he is up to! I hope your kiddos are having fun with their elf!

    1. I am really happy that you encouraged me to get on board with all of the elf shenanigans! So far, it has been a lot of fun! I will be following your placement calendar!

Snowflake made our list too. Great minds think alike, right? The class finally decided on Jingles. Gerald, my choice, can be his middle name! Jingles Gerald Elf.
